ALUMNI HIGHLIGHT
Bria Bergman Watson (Class of 2015)
Bria is the daughter of Keith Bergman (class of ’86) and Jodi Davis (class of ‘87). While at VCS, Bria was a varsity volleyball player where she led the lady conquerors to 3 state tournaments. She went on to play volleyball at Oral Roberts University where she studied marketing.
Today, Bria is married to VCS alum, Jason Watson (class of 2013). She works as a senior stylist at Berkshire Hair Salon and Spa in Broken Arrow. Bria recently wrote about her career as a stylist:
I don’t take lightly my role in someone’s life as their hairstylist. It sounds silly, but I am in this industry to try my best to be a light to those on a dark day. To be encouragement in a tough season. To show the love of Jesus to a broken heart. To be a safe space for all who need it. It’s not all about the hair for me, it’s solely about being the hands & feet of Jesus, & that the chair in front of me is where someone is excited to sit. I’m not perfect & I fall short, but I’m thankful for the people who continue to sit in that chair.
On the other hand, I have so much gratitude for my clients. On the hard days, they lift me up. The wisdom, love, advice, & encouragement I get from them is something I’ll never be able to repay them for, but oh am I thankful.
Thank you Jesus for this career. Thank you to my clients who I believe are the best of the best. Thank you Berkshire for creating a culture that I admire & am able to be my true self! I am grateful.

Race for Victory – Sep. 9th and 10th
The annual Race for Victory is a Family Fun Run, a 5K, and Half Marathon that benefit the athletic and activities programs of VCS. This event is for all ages and all fitness levels, and alumni are encouraged to participate! Click here to register.
Homecoming – October 7th, 2022
Join us this fall for a special alumni reception at this years Homecoming celebration. We will be specifically honoring the class of 1982, 1992, 2002, and 2012 as they celebrate the decade anniversaries of their graduating classes.
