Our K3 through 4th grade program provides a safe and nurturing environment with an emphasis on differentiated student learning. Our teachers partner with our Lower School families to help students develop their God-given potential. Our Lower School curriculum is designed to prepare students for lifelong learning by building a strong academic base while fostering spiritual and social growth.
Programs and Leadership
Our K3-K5 program is designed to utilize a child’s imagination, energy, and curious mind as a foundation for education. This is a place where “Why?” can thrive. Our students get to work in a myriad of ways; from independent assignments to team tasks. One of the most amazing ways we enhance teaching is with iPads in classrooms. Daily specials rotate our students through PE, music, and art.
Our elementary curriculum is designed to prepare students for lifelong learning by building a strong academic base while fostering spiritual and social growth in a loving, accepting environment.
Lisa Boehm has been in education for over 30 years, serving in a wide range of roles across public schools, homeschool settings, hybrid models, and classical education. She spent 14 years teaching in public schools and has held leadership positions in programs like Classical Conversations and Creative Leadership School. For 15 years, she and her husband also taught missions at Victory College.
This is Mrs. Boehm’s first year as Lower School Principal at Victory Christian School. She holds a double degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a minor in Geography from East Tennessee State University, along with a one-year Bible certificate from NOBI.
Mrs. Boehm and her husband have one daughter, who is currently entering her second year at Victory College. With deep personal and professional ties to Christian education, Mrs. Boehm is excited to serve the students, families, and staff of VCS with wisdom, warmth, and a heart for the next generation.
